I'm a New York City based UX designer from Hong Kong.

I work at Assurant, a Fortune 500 insurance company, as a user experience designer. My day-to-day as a designer looks a lot like writing songs with my 2-year-old: trying to step into one's shoes ('It's so frustrating that we had so many picks, yet we lost them all.'); tons of collaboration and problem-solving ('What do you think would work? Do you think a dime would work? Let's try!'); and understanding goals and getting buy-ins ('You really want to play guitar without using your fingers huh! We can also play with our teeth. Did you know Jimi Hendrix used his teeth to play guitar?').

When I'm not working, I run, read, and write plays and musicals.
